Hmm...sounds like this issue could be related to how your BIM Server and related files (i.e. Project file location, Libraries location) is set up at your office? Unfortunately, I am not yet an expert on troubleshooting in that area. Hopefully someone else here with experience on BIM Server set up among Macs will be of help.

Have you reloaded the project from teamwork server? IIRC, discarding and re-joining might be the same thing. There was one project that was really not cooperating with layer manager, I saved it out as a .pln, backed up the TW file, removed it from server, and opened up the saved .pln to share once again onto the server. Maybe that will help?

We are having the same issue here with our view maps in a TW2 project. Like Keith already said - it will still publish in the correct settings but when we open them in AC, it ignores the layer combination setting. It is affecting a large number of section views so it does not make sense to recreate them.

On another project, double-clicking the view map did not take me to the saved zoom area. It updated all the settings, but not the zoom. And even after another save as current zoom, it would not update. In that case, I ended up redoing those specific view maps. These views were not part of a cloned folder.

We also have the latest hotfix installed so I can say it does not seem to correct this issue. Reloading the file from server did not correct it either.

I have attached an image showing the section in view map, the designated settings, and the actual settings after double-clicking on it. Please note the exclamation icon next to the layer combination. When hovering my cursor above it, it said "The settings in the frontmost window no longer correspond to the original view settings." No view settings were modified after double-clicking on it. Hopefully this could be discovered and corrected by those who need to know about it. Thank you.

This has prob been brought up already but i couldn't find it in a search. How or is it possible to "reserve all" or have exclusive access in a AC13 teamwork file?

 Perhaps a little more information.
Is there anything you can do when in TW2?
Have you set up your user profiles?
Have you reserved the elements?
Users can reserve and release elements as they work. A much easier and faster work-flow, but you still must have your user profile set up to let you work with the elements you want.

Every other time it opened in "Detached" mode, forcing me to discard changes.

I just added another workstation and we are trying out teamwork. It appears everything is working correctly with the exception of one problem: one both stations the objects and view layouts are locked. Everything is locked! I saved it down to a PLN solo file and reloaded it but that did not seem to work. Can someone please suggest another solution? Thank you...

Have you added those BIM Server Libraries to your TW File using the Library Manager?

I understand it could be easily overlooked but here you go:

Go to Library Manager and see if those libraries are loaded underneat BIM Server Libraries. If not, select BIM Server Libraries and Reserve. After reserving, that little button located at the top, with the arrow facing the side, will then give you an option to "Use BIM Server Library" and that is where you can locate your BIM Server Libraries to add to your project.
I was wrong.
The problem is not fixed.
I am in a teamwork project.
In my BIM server Libraries it says there is "ACA Library"
In my regular library manager it says there is one there.

But when I go to search for material in element attributes, and objects in my object library my ACA Library is not there.

How do i get to this library from these places?

I asked this question in the Library group, with no response... Lets see how the Teamwork folks do??

1. Are LCF files faster than just loading the library folder in Teamwork 13?
2. Are compressed LCFs faster than uncompressed LCFs in Teamwork 13?

I noticed there is an option to "COMPRESS" when creating library Container Files (.lcf)

Just for fun I created an LCF for the "ArchiCAD 12 Migration Library" which originally contains a 50.2 MB lcf file.

the new ArchiCAD 12 Migration Library Compressed.lcf file I created is only 22.8 MB.

I assume the compressed files move faster through the pipeline, but may take longer to translate when you are working on the model... but that is an assumption.

Any experienced teamwork 13 library gurus know the facts?

Here's a new one. Teamwork in AC12 is not creating LCK files, so multiple people are able to sign in at the same time. This doesn't seem to be causing any problems, as long as signing in/out is communicated among team members, but it is a concern. I had saved the PLP as a PLN, merged a New & Reset file, and reshared -- so basically, it's a new PLP and we're still having problems. Supposedly, all was normal yesterday and this is a new development.
