Perhaps someone in the know can confirm this. New features only say 64-bit BIM Server on MacOS. |
Anyone who would know is still under NDA .. as with previous releases if it hasn't been announced by Graphisoft then you can't talk about it until the NDA is lifted AFAIK. |
Yes, only the BIM Server is 64-bit on Mac with AC14.
Seems like rewriting the whole app for 64-bit is a bigger task than that. _________________ Laszlo Nagy, Moderator, Site Admin

Hey, you know more than I do.
Actually, I have not been in contact with the programmers about this so I don't know anything about it. _________________ Laszlo Nagy, Moderator, Site Admin

My booboo.
I read through the brochure too quickly and misinterpreted that one. _________________ Andrew Zarb - ArchiCAD user since version 4.0

Judging by the interface of the server software it doesn't look like the Mac GUI will be fixed any time soon either. _________________ Vectorworks user - ArchiCAD 12 trial |

I don't know if anyone has this architosh issue but there seem to be an article about user interface for "future versions" of ArchiCAD.
http://architosh.com/2010/02/new-toshletter-arrives-march-1-get-it-now/
ToshLetter 2010 – No. 1
This issue of the ToshLetter is focused on BIM (Building Information Modeling) and the architectural industry. A brief description of the table of contents (TOC) follows below:
Discussions about ArchiCAD: Interface and Future Focus — this exclusive segment of our Architosh feature interview with Viktor Varkonyi, CEO of Graphisoft, touches on rare comments about how the company views its flagship BIM program’s user-interface and notes about the future production direction. _________________ AC12_2675_WinVista |
