I know that Archicad uses TTF fonts but doesn't like .SHX font types.
Are there any "FREE" TTF fonts that mimic an "architectural hand drawn style" font??? on the net. |

Free? You get what you pay for. There are several architectural hand lettered-style fonts in this package for $64 US:

| Free is not always free. Have you done a Google search for "free architectural hand-lettered fonts"? Maybe not too many available. Maybe just crap. Why not pay for what you use? |

| I actually did find a pretty good "free" architectural font. it's called "FLUX.TTF" font and it really resembles a hand written chisel styled font. I knew a while back there were companies that could scan your own unique hand chisel architectural font and a create a custom "YOUR" own hand writting font just for you........... |

Rob,
These folks will do just that:
www.yourfonts.com/
In our office we encompass all stages of architectural technology, including a guy that only does hand drawing. So we scanned his writing and can now use it everywhere if we want. However, it is not perfect as they appear to use some algorithm to determine letter alignment and it is not perfect so the lines of text have a bit more movement than his real hand written text. The site is quite fun all the same. _________________ Erich

The 'flux' font mentioned by Rob2218 should help you. You can find it at dafont.com . Just do a search for 'flux architect' when you go that site. _________________ MacBook Pro OS 10.5.8
