I would like to see the wall tool enhanced or a new wall end tool to allow wall lap junction and the slab have a edge interface to allow lap junctions on all edges. Lap junctions are used in cross laminated timber construction.

At the moment to get the panels correct showing composites you have to use morphs. However morphs exponentially increase video card usage and make the model difficult to navigate in 3D.

Barry,
Now with the opening tool in AC23 you can now do what I was wanting. It means drawing the wall and placing an opening (recess) along the base of the wall and then along the top of the wall below but the other side. Then you can over lap the walls by the specified lap dimension. This allows you to lap all sides of the CLT panel.

If you are talking about extending and overlapping wall skins vertically, then have you looked at using 'modifiers' in complex profile walls?
These can be set up so you can stretch any skin vertically (or in thickness also if you want).
