It would be really nice if we could use auto-text to get the drawing ID and the layout ID for a drawing on a layout. If This were possible it would be possible to get the location of details and display the sheet and drawing ID location of that detail in a schedule using a property expression. This has always been a problem with door and window schedules and pointing an individual door or window to a detail.

There are 6 Drawing-related and 16 Layout-related Autotexts available in the Text Tool.
The Drawing Title is a GDL Library Part, which is linked to the Drawing and can display these Drawing and Layout-related Autotexts.
You can see there are several "Drawing Title" type Library Parts available, unfortunately, none of them can display both the Drawing ID and the Layout ID at the same time.
However, using Lines, Arc/Circles and Autotexts you can draw your own Drawing Title, select them and use the "File\Libraries and Objects\Save Selection As\Drawing Title" menu command to save it as a Drawing Title, then use it with your Drawing. The Autotexts will display the correct pieces of information about your Drawing and Layout.
