Composite 2d Line/Polyline

It would be nice to have an option for any line/polyline to choose from a "Single Line" or a "Composite Line".
This way we could use preset Composites as a 2d element that could be used for patching Mesh sections with Composite Lines.

As in you could use the line tool to create a Composite Material edge in 2D?
