I think frankyvero is referring to 2D elements and possibly walls and beams having the same storey settings as roofs and slabs.

Thanks for your response dkovacs, Barry is correct with his elaboration. The trace function would defiantly help the problem if it was document-able (printable).

Hi,

I think if you want to place drawings of different floors under each other on a layout, you don't actually need the Trace feature, you can just place a single drawing of each floor under each other on a layout. Make sure to turn the background of the drawing to transparent, and if you want the "reference" to look different, just override its pen set from the drawing settings, or save the view with an override.

Does this help in what you would want to achieve?
