I am a freelance architect, i work for clients from several continents. It is so frustrating to work in ArchiCAD using different units.
I usually work in mm (metric), so if for instance my client tells me the head room is 8ft, i cannot directly inert that in the storey setting while using my metric "working units". I have two options, either i go to the options and change working units, or i look for a calculator to make the conversion for the units.
Unlike in other software, i could just insert the 8 followed by "ft" to specify i am referring to a unit other than my current working unit.
It will make my work in archicad so much faster!
