I was thinking of a better way or reordering number doors and I thought wouldn't it be cool if I could just drag the window or door in the schedule to be in the order that I want. Instead of having to select them in the order and running the command is slow and cumbersome specially when I can have 70+ windows and its is easy to accidental to select something else and have to start again.
Also a warning if there is a window/door with the same ID number


I realise this is an old thread I google renumbering/ ordering windows and doors an came across this thread.

+1 - though there is still some merit in making numbering sequential in the plan view in the first instance, for ease of location
