#258236
Graphisoft has provided a way of opening old project files (PLN) going back as far as version 4.1 using 'converter' versions of ArchiCAD:

http://www.graphisoft.com/downloads/fil ... 1233614224

Yet, the companion PMK (PlotMaker) files can NOT be opened if generated from AC 7 or earlier. This 'orphans' these old PMK files for projects that may yet come to life again for renovation or facilities management. See this thread:

Graphisoft could provide a standalone PMK converter that converts old PMK files to PlotMaker 9 PMK format which is readable by all versions from AC 10 to AC 20.
