Ability to right click on a view in the Navigator, then in the context menu have a choice to 'go to the first placed instance' of that drawing (if one exists). Note that the backwards version of this exists. Selecting a drawing, right clicking to 'open the source view.'

Could "Drawing Manager" -palette achieve what you are looking for?

You can check the views and layouts with "Drawing Manager". You can list by "Source View", and from there with right mouse click you can go to a spesific "Drawing". That way you can review all the drawings in all layouts one by one. It does not know which is the first reference of a view by time, if that's you meant, but it does tell you the layout number (see pic).
